Veteran’s Spouse Project debuts original play

by
Veteran's Spouse Project

There are countless stories of battle, triumph and the journey home told from a soldier’s perspective, but few from the voices of spouses waiting for their loved ones to return.

Anchorage resident and military spouse Amy Uptgraft brings her story to life in the original play “I Will Wait,” which shows war through the eyes of a veteran’s spouse. The play takes place on May 11-12 at 8 p.m. at the UAA Fine Arts Building and is followed by an expressive arts workshop featuring “Made For You” pieces.
