University of Alaska announces first-ever Day of Giving

by The 100 Companies
Day of Giving

The University of Alaska system’s first-ever Day of Giving is coming up on Tuesday, Oct. 20.

Dubbed “49 Hours for the 49th State,” the 49-hour online giving campaign’s goal is to encourage alumni and friends to give to and support the campus(es) they care about, whether it’s University of Alaska Anchorage, University of Alaska Fairbanks and/or University of Alaska Southeast. Alaska businesses can make donations (one-time/matching/challenge gifts), share the campaign with employees and colleagues and spread the word to join in.

For more information on how to get involved, contact Becky Lindsey at rllindsey@alaska.edu, and monitor UA’s social media channels.
