Side effects don’t have to be scary

by The 100 Companies

Any vaccine can cause side effects. Most of the time these are minor and go away within a few days. Having access about what to expect when getting vaccinated against COVID-19, or any vaccine, is important in helping people decide to get immunized.

Anchorage resident Daija Cornelious shared her COVID-19 vaccine experience, including the side effect she experienced — a large, red rash on her arm. While side effects like a rash can look scary, it is also an indicator that the vaccine is working.

Watch Daija’s full COVID-19 vaccine experience and get insight from clinical pharmacist Dr. Jocasta G. Olp.
