Community-wide event celebrates Cradle to Career Anchorage launch

When our youth succeed, so does our community. Cradle to Career Anchorage is a new education initiative to ensure all Anchorage kids are safe, healthy and nurtured at every stage of development. It’s dedicated to uniting the city under one cause – supporting our local youth.

Following the end of the school year, United Way of Anchorage and Rasmuson Foundation kicked off summer vacation with a Family Fun Day event which brought together families and community partners throughout Anchorage. The event also introduced the Summer Reading Challenge, a joint effort from the United Way of Anchorage, Raising Canes and 101.3 KGOT.
