Sitka students benefit from funding for Scientists in the Schools program

by The 100 Companies

An education program in Sitka has some extra support this year, thanks to Royal Caribbean Group. The Sitka Sound Science Center received funding from Royal Caribbean Group for its Scientists in the Schools program, which will touch every single student in the Sitka School District. For 20 years, the program has given K-12 students the chance to engage in science and learn about the ecosystems around them.

The partnership is in line with Royal Caribbean Group’s commitment to SEA the Future, a set of guiding principles that promote healthy oceans, sustain our planet, energize communities and accelerate innovation in cruising.
