Local businesses helping to maintain stable communities

Even as their own businesses were temporarily closing to the public, Mountain High Pizza Pie and Salmon Berry Tours jumped into action when their fellow Alaskans needed them most.

Salmon Berry Tours repurposed their 16-passenger vans, usually used for adventure tours, and instead partnered with businesses Alaska Mill and Feed, Food Bank of Alaska and others to provide vital supplies to the community.

When unable to serve customers, Mountain High baked loaves for Upper Susitna Food Pantry to give to community members. Mountain High since installed a public hand-washing station in downtown Talkeetna, now an even safer destination for summer fun.
