Grub on salad growlers at Urban Greens

Salads have become popular weekday lunch items, and Anchorage’s Urban Greens has a program to simplify life for salad-lovers. Located downtown on the corner of G Street and 3rd Avenue, this sandwich shop is leading the way in the salad scene.

The concept is simple: buy an Urban Greens salad in a reusable glass growler for the price of the salad, plus $8 for the growler. Consume on-site, at the office or at home, then bring your growler back and fill it with another salad. Urban Greens donates $5 from each purchase to the Renewable Energy Alaska Project.
