Bread Line’s annual Soup Off! fundraiser on Jan. 18 showcases Fairbanks’ “finest culinary genius” as local eateries compete for best in class. Indulge in a hot bowl and your proceeds go toward Bread Line’s anti-hunger programs which have been “feeding people & affirming lives” since 1984.

Bread Line serves Fairbanks through four programs:

• Stone Soup Café offers healthy food to those in need.

• Two culinary job training classes for adults offered annually.

• Growing its own garden in downtown Fairbanks.

• The Kids Café addresses food insecurity for children and families.

Consider slurping some soup or making a donation to support Bread Line’s mission.
