Alaska Commemorates 40 Years Being #PrudhoeProud

by

Over the summer, the Alaska Oil and Gas Association joined its members to mark the 40th anniversary of production at Prudhoe Bay and to celebrate the grit and spirit of the Alaskans who continue to make us #PrudhoeProud.

Since 1977, more than 12.5 billion barrels of oil have been transported from Prudhoe Bay through the Trans-Alaska Pipeline to the port of Valdez. The industry has touched lives in every part of the state.

As part of the #PrudhoeProud celebration, AOGA visited Golden Days to talk to Fairbanks-area residents about their history with the oil and gas industry.
