Alaska Commemorates 40 Years Being #PrudhoeProud

Over the summer, the Alaska Oil and Gas Association joined its members to mark the 40^th anniversary of production at Prudhoe Bay and to celebrate the grit and spirit of the Alaskans who continue to make us #PrudhoeProud.

Since 1977, more than 12.5 billion barrels of oil have been transported from Prudhoe Bay through the Trans-Alaska Pipeline to the port of Valdez. The industry has touched lives in every part of the state.

As part of the #PrudhoeProud celebration, AOGA visited Golden Days to talk to Fairbanks-area residents about their history with the oil and gas industry.
