‘A cluckin’ good time’ at Chicken’s music fest

Chicken, Alaska, hosts the Chickenstock Music Festival June 13-14, showcasing the music of Alaskan artists in a town with a mere 17 residents. Prepare to sing, hula hoop and be self-sufficient for all-weather communal camping off the grid with limited Alaska satellite-based internet and phone service.

Food trucks will serve up fresh meals, and local brews and wines are available inside the gates. Every attendee over 21 will receive a free, reusable stainless steel Klean Kanteen pint to eliminate single-use plastic cups.

Enjoy the “Peep Drop,” games, Alaskan made crafts and a 5-K run if you’re not all danced out.
