The great outdoors of Alaska comes together indoors at The Fairbanks Outdoor Show. The event showcases “outside activities, ATVs, camping gear, travel ideas, health and fitness, local food vendors, nonprofits, car care, home improvements and shopping.” Not to mention the largest gun show in the Interior with 80+ tables devoted to firearms, hunting, fishing, survival and outdoor sports. Vendors come from Fairbanks, North Pole communities and as far away as the Kenai Peninsula.
Admission is $5 and kids under 12 are free; there’s no charge for military members on Sunday and anyone who brings two cans for the food bank.
