Meet Recover Alaska’s 2022 Sober Heroes

Sobriety doesn’t come as a one-size-fits-all journey. To inspire and break the stigmas surrounding sobriety and recovery, Recover Alaska is sharing the stories of three “Sober Heroes” who continue to positively impact sober communities across the state of Alaska.

For Sobriety Awareness Month in March, Recover named Alaska photographer Wes Brewington and podcasters Blaze Bell and Ralph Sara Sober Heroes. The three heroes partnered with the nonprofit and produced three, two-minute features where they proudly shared the lessons they learned on their journeys to help inspire others to overcome their own fears.
