Silence is not the answer. The voices of the underserved need to be amplified, and each one of us can do our part to help. Anchorage-based photographer, T&C-er and Akela Space co-founder Jovell R. participated in and documented the recent #ICantBreathe rally in Anchorage and captured some of these voices in action.
In an effort to continue support and help spread awareness about this important issue, Akela Space is accepting donations to local and national organizations supporting black, indigenous, POC and LGBTQ people.
