You can’t spell “kayaking” without “AK.” With plenty of coastline, endless rivers, streams and lakes, Alaska is the perfect place to paddle. These are three of our favorite spots:
A glacially fed lake located north of Anchorage, Eklutna Lake’s blue hue makes for Instagram-worthy pics.
Sitka Sound offers various passages north and south with chances to get up close with marine wildlife.
Kenai Fjords offers mountain and glacier views and is also home to an abundance of wildlife.
If you aren’t experienced in Alaska waters, review safety warnings, familiarize yourself with the route and follow a knowledgeable guide.
