The most chilling thing about Alaska in winter isn’t just the weather. The Last Frontier is also known for obscure paranormal activity at some of its oldest establishments.

Occurrences of shifting curtains and flying pictures have led some to believe the Historic Anchorage Hotel in downtown Anchorage is haunted. Its eerie history is believed to have started in 1921 and ghosts from that decade are said to have made appearances.

Believer or skeptic, read about sightings in the ghost log at the front counter, or book a stay at the hotel to document your own and celebrate this spooktacular season.

Yes, The Anchorage Hotel is Haunted, We we’re Having A Wedding & Reception in Their Event Room, We Went Downstairs To Get More Chairs, The Chair was Moving and No one else was down there, the Chairs were Moving by themselves, we ran up the stairs very fast, we told Our Host, She has an employee get chairs for us, we hurried out of the Anchorage Hotel, We Never Went Back There Again.
