Ski for free with an Alaska Airlines boarding pass

by The 100 Companies

Two ski hills in Alaska are now offering a free ski day if you flash your Alaska Airlines boarding pass from a flight that same day: Eaglecrest Ski Area in Juneau and Alyeska Resort in Girdwood. More good news: Alaska Airlines doesn’t charge oversize bag fees for skis and snowboards.

Alyeska Resort has some blackout days around spring break and holidays. The deal is available weekdays Jan. 7 – April 17, 2020. In the state’s capital city, Eaglecrest Ski Area also participates in the deal.

With daily flights between Seattle and Juneau or Anchorage, getting on the hill doesn’t take much effort.

That’s awesome news, thanks. I’ll think about it next time I’m flying home.
