Networking 101

by

We all know that networking is important to grow your business, but walking into a room full of strangers can be intimidating. So how can you overcome awkwardness at large networking events?

1. Arrive early – It’s less intimidating to strike up a conversation before it gets crowded, and arriving halfway through an event can be overwhelming.

2. Introduce yourself to the host – They probably know a lot of people and can introduce you around.

3. Quality over quantity – Don’t spend your time trying to meet everyone. It’s better to establish two or three strong connections than go around throwing business cards at everyone.
