As the holidays approach, it’s time to take a step back in our busy lives and lend a helping hand to those in need.
From the elderly and youth, to veterans and those still serving in the military, 100,000 Alaskans – nearly one in seven – struggle from hunger. Anyone can suffer from hunger, but thankfully Food Bank of Alaska is working tirelessly to help Alaska families in need.
Whether it’s a monetary donation, giving food, planning a food drive or volunteering, please join GCI this month in supporting Food Bank of Alaska as it works to feed hungry Alaskans.
