New Black-owned coffee shop creates buzz in Spenard

Wake up and smell the coffee at Spenard’s newest drive-thru coffee shop, The Drip. This Black-owned family business opened up in May and has stirred up quite the buzz with its espresso and gourmet sandwiches. Located in the parking lot alongside the Alano Club, where Narcotics Anonymous and Alcoholics Anonymous meetings are held, The Drip offers a sobriety discount with purchase.

The Drip hours

• Monday-Friday: 7 a.m. – 6 p.m.

• Saturday: 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.

• Sunday: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
