While the full impacts that small business have faced because of the pandemic are yet to be realized, savvy leaders have invested in new technologies to virtually connect with customers, streamline productivity and reduce expenses.
The State of Local Business 2021 provides insights into how small businesses are investing in digital marketing. Not surprisingly, 48 percent of respondents expanded their social media marketing efforts. And, while 92 percent of respondents had websites, only 28 percent made significant improvements to their existing sites.
This may present an opportunity for small business owners to gain visibility and market share over their competition.
