Bucket list destinations to add in 2018

Two new Alaska lodging options give visitors the opportunity to fulfill bucket list dreams.

Borealis Basecamp, based out of Fairbanks, offers a luxurious way to experience one of Alaska’s top draws – viewing the northern lights. At Borealis Basecamp, view this phenomenon from inside a custom-built igloo with a glass ceiling.

Another new destination, Sheldon Chalet sits on top of Denali’s Ruth Glacier in the Don Sheldon Amphitheater. The chalet offers visitors a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains with luxury amenities. The stay can be customized to include a trek across Ruth Glacier or an overnight in an igloo.
