Alaska Adventure Travel, an APICDA subsidiary, is offering two new tours that let visitors experience unique adventures on Alaska’s Aleutian Islands.
A guided walrus viewing tour takes visitors to see what’s known as a haul out, or a large gathering of walruses. Visitors will have the opportunity to safely observe the haul out and stay overnight on a beach surrounded by nature.
The Unalaska hiking trip caters to history lovers and will retrace a trading route Alaska Natives used before World War II. Alaska Adventure Travel also donates a portion of the proceeds from the tours to local culture camps.
