• Before your trip, engage in higher-intensity workout sessions, especially if you can’t work out while you’re away. The day before your flight leaves, stick to a moderate intensity routine.

• Eat lean proteins, healthy fats and a variety of fruits and veggies to help your body cope with the new climate, time zone and cuisine.

• Adjust your sleeping schedule to align with your destination’s hours.
