Print, print, hooray! Alaska Railroad solicits artists for annual print

by The 100 Companies

Submissions for the Alaska Railroad’s annual commemorative artwork program are now open. As the Alaska Railroad marks its centennial, there is an added focus for the 2024 print to pay tribute to Alaska Native people, culture and heritage. The artists are encouraged to create a piece that highlights the connection between the First Peoples and the century-old railroad.

Since 1979, the Alaska Railroad has commissioned an artist to create a piece of art that is sold in gift shops and showcases the beauty of Alaska.

Artists must fill out the official artist application. Submissions are due by Friday, April 15, 2023.
