It’s a big change – Anchorage’s upcoming municipal election is being conducted entirely by mail. On March 13, ballots will be mailed to all registered voters in Anchorage, who can vote and return their ballots any time before the deadline.
This year, voters will elect Anchorage’s mayor, choose school board members and approve or reject bonds and ballot propositions. Some assistance is available at accessible vote centers, but there is NO in-person voting on Election Day.
Ballots must be returned to secure ballot drop boxes or postmarked by April 3 to count. More: Muni.org/elections or 907-243-VOTE.
