The Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center rescues animals from across Alaska and provides them with a safe place to heal and live. One of the newest rescues is Artemis the muskox calf. Artemis was rescued near Endicott, an oil field in northern Alaska, after a bear attacked her herd and left her orphaned.
Now visitors to AWCC have the chance to be up close and personal with Artemis. During Muskox Mingle, spend 30 minutes meeting and interacting with Artemis while accompanied by an AWCC animal keeper.
Reserve your Artemis hangout now. Muskox Mingle runs through Jan. 31. Tickets are $45 a person.
