The Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center in Portage is improving its visitor experience this summer by opening a new education building called Bison Hall. This incredible facility will provide visitors with added opportunities to explore the center’s programs and events while also serving as an escape from inclement weather.
The 6,000-square-foot structure features a program hall that will provide offices for the AWCC team and host year-round enrichment activities and lectures. The new facility is also fully equipped with AV and technology to provide STEM education programs or serve as a special events venue available for rent.
