What is the recipe for Alaska? Tons of glaciers, a dash of adventure, a pinch of good luck with the weather and miles of untouched beauty. While all those ingredients make for a memorable vacation, it turns out you can also find Alaska inside a martini glass.
The drink has been around since the 1900s and now has adaptations in bars across the country. To make the original version, stir gin, yellow Chartreuse, a French liqueur, and orange bitters over ice. Strain into a chilled glass with a lemon twist.
