If you’re pressed for time but love decadent holiday treats, try my easy, no-cook eggnog.
• 1 pint whole milk
• 1 cup heavy cream
• 1 ounce bourbon
• 1 ounce dark rum
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 teaspoon nutmeg
• 4 egg yolks
• 1/3 cup sugar plus 1 tablespoon
• 4 egg whites
1. Beat egg yolks and sugar until the yolks’ color lightens and sugar dissolves in a mixer bowl. Add first six ingredients.
2. Place egg whites in bowl; beat to soft peaks. Gradually add 1 tablespoon sugar and beat into stiff peaks. Gently fold egg whites into mixture. Chill and serve.
