New and tasty treats to try this July

Looking for something new to try this month? July is heating up with brand new bites across Southcentral.

If you “doughn’t know,” now you know. Serving up Voodoo Doughnut-style treats, I DoughKnow is the Matanuska-Susitna Valley’s newest doughnut joint. Doughnuts are known to sell out daily, so get there early.

From one pastry shop to another, Benji’s Bakery & Café opened in Anchorage in late June. The menu includes gourmet-style pastries, boba drinks and much more.

Cool off this month with Gelatte. This Italian ice cream shop, providing authentic Italian gelato flavors, opened in downtown Anchorage July 1.
