Kick off the month at the 2025 Paddling Film Festival World Tour featuring wilderness expeditions, whitewater adventures, canoeing and rafting, environmental documentaries and more. Advance tickets are $10 for the May 1 screening.
Then make your way to The Fairbanks Artist Studio Tour May 2-4. Local artists will open their studios across the city, welcoming visitors for an up-close look at their work and artistic process. You’ll have a chance to talk with the artists in their environment, partake in demonstrations and hands-on workshops and purchase paintings, textiles, ceramics and more. Friday’s opening event includes live music, food and drinks.
