Labor Day is right around the corner and many Alaskans will be looking for what to do on their day off. Here are a few options in various communities around the state.
• Spend the holiday attending the Anchorage Market and Festival for live entertainment and local treats.
• Further north, the community of Tok will host a Labor Day Community Potluck Picnic.
• Pioneer Park in Fairbanks will have a live performance by Tundra Caravan and other entertainers.
• Or head to Palmer and enjoy the last day of the Alaska State Fair.
