Great Land Trust, an Anchorage-based nonprofit focused on land conservation for community benefit in Southcentral Alaska, is celebrating 25 years in 2020.
Since its inception in 1995, GLT has conserved more than 56,000 acres, including wetlands that, in addition to providing access to the outdoors and open space, provide clean drinking water and habitat for salmon and other wildlife. From the Matanuska-Susitna Valley to Kodiak Island, to Anchorage and beyond, Alaska depends on healthy lands and waters.
Support GLT at its annual winter party and fundraiser on Thursday, Dec. 5, and hear about 2019’s many successes and what is planned for 2020.
