The Alaska Department of Health & Social Services is reminding Alaskans of the basics: wear a mask, social distance and shrink your bubble.
Statewide COVID-19 case counts continue to be high, partially stemming from family and friend get-togethers such as weddings, birthday parties and barbecues. Large gatherings are considered particularly high risk as guests are in close proximity. Outdoor gatherings are safer, but keeping contact limited is best.
Keep track of your close interactions with others and practice COVID-19 safety precautions (wash your hands frequently, practice social distancing and wear a mask, etc.) to protect yourself, your loved ones and others.
