Melanie Bronfin, the National Council of Jewish Women’s Hannah G. Solomon Award recipient, has spent a lifetime advocating for the care and education of young children. From her experiences, she shares these tips to effect change:
1. Determine your “what.” What outcome are you trying to achieve? And, what must change to achieve it?
2. Identify your “who.” Who has the power to make the desired change? And perhaps equally important, who has the power to influence that person or group?
3. Figure out the “why” behind your “who.” Why should those in power and those who influence them care about this issue?
