GCI supports organizations helping suicide prevention

Over the past three years, GCI has given nearly $500,000 to organizations working to prevent suicide in Alaska by promoting mental wellness through community and personal connections.

This Suicide Prevention Month, GCI will announce the grant recipients of its 2021 GCI Suicide Prevention Fund. GCI provides funding for organizations that make a lasting positive impact on reducing rates of suicide in Alaska.

In addition to announcing this year’s grant recipients, GCI will be holding its second-ever GCI Wellness Challenge throughout the month of September. The challenge will launch  on Sept. 9. Keep an eye on GCI’s Facebook page to learn more.
