Kick off one of the Last Frontier’s favorite festivals, Fur Rendezvous, with the Fur Rondy Express, the Alaska Railroad’s newest special-event train.
Throughout the 2.5-hour ride, take in scenic views of the Turnagain Arm and snow-covered Chugach Mountains while enjoying onboard entertainment. Live music, crafts, treats and performances by the Alaska Native Heritage Center dancers will charm passengers of all ages on the round-trip journey from Anchorage to Indian.
Departures are scheduled for 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 23. Tickets are on sale and can be purchased at AlaskaRailroad.com.
