In partnership with Alaska State Parks, Salmon Berry Travel & Tours is managing operations in Independence Mine State Historical Park this summer.
As part of its management, Salmon Berry Tours is offering daily interpretive tours of the historical park, a new snack shop and other offerings, including a new tour called Mines & Musk Ox that will run until Sept. 5. This full-day tour is highlighted with a nature walk in the historical park, a visit to the Musk Ox Farm, dinner and more.
