The Alaska Department of Health & Social Services’ “Mask Up, Alaska!” campaign is a statewide effort to slow the spread of COVID-19. Alaskans are asked to be kind and wear a mask; not only to protect themselves, but to protect their fellow Alaskans.
Wearing a face mask or face covering over the mouth and nose, along with other effective, protective measures, helps prevent the spread of respiratory droplets, which could contain the virus that causes COVID-19.
Submit a photo of yourself wearing a mask and share why you mask up for a chance to be featured on DHSS’ social media channels.
