The middle school students in the Alaska Native Science and Engineering Program recently learned from industry professionals what it would be like to own their own aerospace company and to have a chance to build and launch their own rockets.
“These kids are incredible. ANSEP continues to be the best program I’ve worked with. It’s incredible to see these kids come in from around the state and you give them a little bit of material and a little bit of prodding, and they turn out some really impressive things,” said Nick Kellie, owner of K2 Dronotics and ANSEP industry partner.
