The 907: Alaska Miners Association 2018 Convention & Trade Show

Each fall, mining professionals from around the state of Alaska gather in downtown Anchorage for a three-day trade show. Mining is a growing industry in Alaska, providing thousands of jobs in over 50 Alaskan cities. This event is an opportunity for members of one of Alaska’s largest industries to come together to discuss innovations and economic planning. Here are some highlights from this year’s event:

• Influential keynote presenters include DOI Assistant Secretary Joe Balash, Senator Dan Sullivan and others.

• Technical sessions will be presented by USGS, DGGS and University of Alaska.
