The Municipality of Anchorage recently announced the launch of a new telephone directory designed to make reaching city services, such as the Anchorage Police Department’s non-emergency line, quicker and easier to access.
The new Anchorage 3-1-1 line streamlines access to APD’s non-emergency line, ultimately opening up the 9-1-1 line for urgent calls, and also serves as a general directory for frequently contacted departments like the mayor’s office, traffic, street maintenance and more.
Anchorage 3-1-1 is open effective immediately and APD is urging residents to use the line in all non-emergency situations.
