After a three-year hiatus of an in-person event due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Alaska Native Science & Engineering Program’s annual Celebration returned for its 28th year in 2023. University students plus elementary, middle and high school students across Alaska came together to celebrate their successes while honoring Alaska Native culture.
This year’s Celebration featured keynote speakers Dr. Moogega Cooper and Dr. Adam Steltzner with NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, who inspired students to dare mighty things and reach for the stars in their education and careers.
Through dance, song and Alaska Native traditions, students, staff, partners and guests commemorated another successful year.
