Get ready to see a new Alaska license plate design on the streets. The Alaska community prides itself on its breathtaking landscapes and rich heritage. Every four years, Alaska residents tap into their creative roots to share this beauty in a nontraditional way – license plates.
The Alaska State Council on the Arts organized the competition for a new state license plate design to celebrate this artistic spirit. The competition serves as a catalyst to inspire artists to display their boundless creativity, unique narratives and unwavering affection for Alaska.
