Since the beginning of Alaska’s “hunker down” orders, Catholic Social Services, the operating organization for Brother Francis Shelter and Clare House, has helped over 250 people find or remain in safe housing.
The organization’s work is not done yet. There are more Alaskans who desperately need assistance. CSS is asking for help in creating permanent housing boxes for clients who have been placed in stable housing. These kits will provide basic necessities such as toilet paper, cleaning supplies and linens.
