Hello, back-to-school season! Here are tips to keep everyone healthy for in-person learning:
• Make sure your family is current on immunizations, as well as any wellness care visits.
• Turn in your child’s current shot record to your school office or school nurse.
• Talk to your pediatrician about the COVID-19 vaccine. For eligible youth (age 12+) vaccination remains the best way to keep students protected against the virus. Let’s keep Alaska students in school and doing the activities they love.
• Review and encourage basic hygiene, such as hand washing, to help prevent infection.
