Alaska Railroad seeking artists for centennial print

Artists, come one, come all – the Alaska Railroad is asking artists to submit sketches that will visually depict 100 years since the Golden Spike ceremony marked the completion of the 470-mile railroad.

The winning artist receives $3,000, 10 artist proofs and 20 posters. The artist will also participate in print/poster sale-and-signing events in Fairbanks and Anchorage. The Alaska Railroad will cover travel expenses for the artist.
