• More nurses: Hundreds of nurses arrive from outside to relieve exhausted local providers.

Thumbs down:

• School vandalism: TikTok vandalism challenge rears its ugly head in Anchorage. Seriously, kids, our teachers have enough to deal with.

• Aggressive otters: Troublesome otters attack humans, dogs in Anchorage park. Their days are numbered.

• Health care worker threats: Employees on COVID’s front lines report harassment, threats from patients. How did we get here? Do better.
