Thumbs down:

• Crazy snow: Record-breaking snowfall in Southcentral snarls traffic, closes schools. Snowmageddon!

• Dog attack: Anchorage woman and her dog viscously attacked in chance encounter on local trail.

• RSV: Virus that hits children hard is taking a toll in Alaska this winter. Wash those hands.
