Is there anything more American than a hot dog on the Fourth of July? We all know the current national favorites: the Chicago dog, New York dog, Detroit dog, even the Seattle dog. But what you might not know is Alaska can hold its own right next to these encased celebrities and even outshine some.

From delicious reindeer dogs (my personal favorite) to brats, kielbasas and more, there’s something for everyone. Look for the secret ingredient that takes any Alaska dog to the next level – onions grilled in Coca-Cola. Our forefathers wouldn’t have it any other way, I’m sure.
